ISLINGTON TOWNHOUSE
Project information
The full renovation of this Grade II listed town house in the centre of Islington, London produced a beautiful, colourful and sympathetic space for these creative clients and their family.
Moving from a warehouse in Clerkenwell, they were keen for it not to feel like a museum and also wanted to add some character back into the kitchen which was expertly made by a local London company from sustainable plywood. The doors in the kitchen are a combination of Ritzy (Coral Pink) and Atlantic Blue, and the doors in the dining room are actually made using natural London Plane (the same type of trees that are in the square outside the house…)
The clients traveled down to see us and to develop a bespoke colour recipe which sits perfectly alongside the rest of their space.

‘There is something very satisfying knowing that you have working with someone local, who actually made the product locally. And using recycling materials and cold processes is a bonus’ - Client quote
